Exciting news for the 1000th episode of NCIS! Daniela Ruah returns as Special Agent Kensi Blye from NCIS: Los Angeles, while Vanessa Lachey joins as Special Agent Jane Tennant from NCIS: Hawai’i. Though not in the D.C. office physically, they’ll participate remotely.
NCIS co-showrunner Steven D. Binder reassures fans that the milestone episode will be a treat, encompassing the show’s entire history from episode one onward. “There’s going to be a lot of Easter eggs in the show, too, visual and auditory, for fans to discover,” Binder shared with Parade.
For Daniela Ruah, this marks a special homecoming after 15 years on NCIS: Los Angeles, where she has also delved into directing. “So many familiar faces and people I love,” Ruah expressed to Deadline. “It’s like coming home.”
Vanessa Lachey, who has appeared in previous crossover episodes, brings her NCIS experience to the table for this momentous occasion.
Adding to the excitement, TVLine reports that Spence Moore II will portray Director Leon Vance’s son, Jared, in the upcoming episode.
